I preface this by saying that I have only ever ordered the pernil, which I have done many times over the last twenty or so years. But on the occasion that I brought my vegetarian daughter here, (and I don't recall what the owner directed her to order) she loved it. The best pernil I've had, with the biggest thing being the consistency of great flavor and juiciness of the pork. So many places that you walk into the food has been under a heat lamp so you roll the dice on what you're getting. And you can't always time your visit to when the food might be freshest. Yellow rice/pigeon peas and plantains are top notch as well.

Anytime I want Spanish food I always end up here. Just good, authentic food. Not only the food is good, the service is always great! I live in New Windsor and it’s well worth the drive…

Me and my wife are a food tester, we be in fancy places near Middletown and the food near middle town it’s terrible, instead this tinny place have the original Puerto Rican flavor in their plates, also i want add the beans are one of the best with calabaza and papa inside con el sabor esquisito de Puerto Rico so 5 starts for this place,((this it’s called tipicall flavor.

Delicious. Customer service great, per usual. Haven't been here in almost 10 years and it is still amazing! Pasteles only around holidays. Food is fresh and moist. Simple rotisserie chicken was so good and moist. Empanadas...wonderful. recommend

Hands down the best Puerto Rican food around! Worth the drive from Milford, PA. You won’t be disappointed! Pernil is my favorite.

Food is hands down fantastically delicious. I travel 55 minutes from Hawley, Pa. to Middletown NY just to have a great meal. For me it's the closest to actually being in Puerto Rico without actually being in Puerto Rico!!!!! The owners go out of their way to give you that home cooked meal that your Grandma or Grandpa would cook for you.

This is a small family owned spot that focuses on serving great Puerto Rican specialties. They just celebrated 25 years in business! The roast pork and rice platter was amazing and was as good as the best I've had on Peurto Rico. The owner was super friendly and helpful. It's definitely a spot to go back to.
